The nation’s hundreds of scenic national parks will get a bit cheaper this weekend, July 18-19, and again on August 15-16, when the National Park Service (www.nps.gov) revives popular fee-free weekends. That means that all of the USA’s 391 national parks will waive entrance fees; about half of the parks normally charge for entry, with fees ranging up to $25 per car in some parks. |
